I had such a hard time going to sleep last night. I think it was the coffee I drank with dessert that kept me up. Lisa and I went home as we usually do on Sunday evenings. My mom made a tremendous meal. Chicken parm, pasta, and salad. It was so delicious. Dessert was that Ozgood pie that notmartha posted back a few weeks ago. Mom and I were going to make it together but she got antsy and did it on her own. I quite liked it. Dad said it was too sweet and Lisa thought it was too tart. On Saturday I am having a few friends over for a little Christmas party. My plan was to make the Ozgood pie and I still think that will work. I figure it will go well with cider or spiced wine. I can also make gingersnaps.
