I did a little work in the garage. Broke down boxes, readied the recycling, trash bagged odds and ends. In the kitchen I wiped the counters and cleaned out the laundry closet. Finally, Lisa and I erected the Christmas tree although we did not decorate it.

I have a pumpkin pie baking in the oven. No, I didn’t make it. My mom gave it to me on Thursday and I had a couple of pieces but I didn’t think it was baked enough. Mom told me I should throw it in the oven for a half hour and it will bake through.

I want to clean my closet in my bedroom. Bag the last bit of summer clothes and go through the winter clothes and get rid of everything that is old or ill-fitting. We shall see.

This was a pretty productive holiday. I spent a lot of time working on the house. I just wish I could see more improvement.
