I had such an awful fright last night. I had just loaded groceries into the fridge when I decided I wanted a glass of juice. I opened the door but the light didn’t go on. It had been working fine when I had loaded the groceries! I slammed the door shut, stumbled backwards, and started to pray. “Please Lord, Please let it be fine, Please! Please, I don’t want to have to buy a new fridge, Please Dear God Please!” I peaked inside and the light still didn’t go on. My stomach began to feel very very sick. Lisa, the smart girl that she is, ran out to the garage where the fuse box is located and started flipping switches. Suddenly I could hear the refrigerator start to hum. The light went on when I opened the door. THANK YOU LORD! THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH! And hats off to my sister for her quick thinking. The only thing I could come up with was to curl up on the floor in the fetal position and cry. Being a homeowner isn’t all that it is cracked up to be.

You should see what happen when you get something like termites or you need a new roof after a water/snow storm….
Or you could be like my brother, he lived right in the path of hurricane that hit Texas. His was was gone… no, IT WAS GONE. There was only the foundation left of the house, everything else had been washed out to sea. At least now he has a new home, with his wife and his cat.

Urp, get that breaker box checked. Why did it trip? Was there a surge? Ours is all messed up, only half of our house has electricity. It helps with the power bill though..LOL…
