Aprille cut our hair on Thursday evening. Lisa looks great and I love my new cut. Sitting in the chair, I couldn’t help but overhear the conversation between the woman right next to me and her hairdresser:
“…and I noticed this lump on the side of my head and I was absolutely worried that it was a tumor!”
“A tumor?”
“Call me a hypochondriac but I was really scared and so I made an appointment with a neurologist…”
“You were able to get an appointment with a neurologist?”
“Well, I am a nurse you know; so anyway I go to the neurologist and he takes one look at it and he tells me it’s a blind pimple!”
“So it’s not a tumor”
“No, and I said, ‘Well, what do I do with it’ and he tells me to put hot compresses on it.”
“Hot compresses work.”
“I’m sure they work but I can’t walk around with a lump on my head so I got my husband to stick a pin in it and squeeze it out”
“That works too”
“My husband, he’s always taking care of things like that on my back and I would do it for him too except he doesn’t like being pinched.”

Happy Halloween, Donna! I hope you have a safe and happy holiday however you celebrate.
No time for a new costume this year. I have to break out the “Mork” (red jumpsuit with/silver triangle). Yes, I save old costumes.
Mork calling Orson, come in Orson …
