Last night I was partying, today I went to a viewing. The father of an old school chum died and my mother and I went to pay our respects. It was nice seeing everyone, I just wish it could have been a shower or wedding that brought us together.
I didn’t visit Violet this weekend. It’s been two weeks. She lives all alone and she enjoys it when I visit. And I enjoy visiting her– I just have a hard time making myself walk across the yard to her house. What is wrong with me?
I propped my computer up so it is not sitting flat on my desk and it has completely stopped the spontaneous shut down. I wonder if I should still take it to the service center?

No, because if it was my shower or wedding, I wouldn’t invite them. We’re not that close.
As for the laptop positioning, that would seem to verify that it’s the overheating issue I grumbled about a few zillion comments back.
And one other thing: Check to see if the little rubber feet are still present on the bottom of the machine – they have a tendency to disappear, and when they do, no air circulates under the box.
