I missed the first 20 minutes of Elvis. I thought it went on at 9, not 8. Good thing I tuned in early. After the movie, I called Lisa and we gabbed on and on about Elvis. We both agreed that Jon Rhys should have worn lifts. He looked so tiny next to Randy Quaid. Otherwise we gave it two thumbs up and an Elvis knee drop.
I am looking forward to going home. Maybe this weekend I will bake my famous Midori cake. Whenever the lilacs bloom I hunger for it.
Walking past a Starbucks this morning I noticed they are advertising a new drink. It’s a chocolate mint frappucino! I love chocolate!! I love mint!! I love icy drinks! Tomorrow before I catch my cab I will partake in its icy goodness.
I hate to admit this but I have been semi-looking forward to the remake of Bewitched. Last night while I was surfing, I found some promotional pictures and they looked great! The oddest thing is that somehow Will Feral actually looked handsome in the pix. Then I downloaded the trailer. It was horrible. It’s not Bewitched. It’s some stupid tv show within a movie. I am no longer semi-looking forward to seeing it. I am however looking forward to seeing the Revenge of the Sith. Yes, it’s true I hated the last 2 Star Wars pictures. No, I have no hope that this movie is going to be any different. I JUST WANT CLOSURE! I am also curious to see if George Lucas incorporated any of my suggestions I offered after the last movie was released. So my fingers are crossed that the Jedis will shed their robes and don cod pieces, yoda will be replaced with a dwarf and a musical montage sequence is added. I would also like to see the Jedis throw away their lightsabers and engage in a great big dance off. A girl can hope, can’t she?

If only George knew….what a winner this Star Wars episode could have been. Cod pieces, dwarfs, and circle dancing……what else could we ask for? Rosa
If they’d have been smart, they’d have written the new Bewitched to change the person who plays Darrin halfway through, and not told anybody.
As for Star Wars, well, Sith happens.
Will Feral…funny on all counts. I cannot wait for his movie “Taladaga Nights”, waiting anxiously.
SITH HAPPENS!!! That’s funny! In the Bewitched trailer Will makes a reference to the Darrins changing in mid series but I like your idea better– they could start with Will and then replace him with Jim Carrey— now I would pay to see that!
Ummm, cod pieces and dwarves…. ok. I am now offically laughing! Ha ha 🙂
