On Sunday I had dinner with my parents. As my mom and I were preparing the food, the doorbell rang. I opened the door. A man was standing there.
“Is your mom or dad home?” he asked.
I couldn’t help but smile. I haven’t heard that in years! He then said, “I know your parents…” Darn it! For a second there I felt like a teenager.
The dishwasher was delivered today. My dad is going to install it for us. I can hardly wait to have a dishwasher that actually works! Our last dishwasher was such a pain in the butt. It rarely washed anything and so we would wash the dishes before we loaded them in.
I’ve been getting a ton of event notification emails from SpeedDating, 8-Minute Dating, Pre-Dating, etc… I want to sign up except I am just so tired of spending money. Yesterday, eHarmony actually sent me a match that seems like a winner. In order for me to accept his request for communication, I have to re-register. I don’t know if I am ready to do that just yet. The weather is getting warmer and I am going to have to start warming up as well. My attitude/outlook needs a readjustment. I am thinking self-hypnosis might be the way to go.

I have been married for 14 years..so I have NO dating advice. However this speed dating looks like the way to go. You don’t have to spend 1 hour with a guy over dinner to decide you don’t like him…..
I’ve done it, its a nice way to get things going. Its not very fun when you put down a couple of people and nobody puts your name down. To me it seemed like if you were rich then you were assured a few contacts. OH well, it is the way to go and its always worth a few laughs to meet people, you may even meet a few people who are great fun to hang around. Anyways good luck with your decision. We all know you are a wonderful woman, I’m think you just need the right guy. Anyways good luck
