Too bad

Lisa didn’t like him. She was able to keep the conversation flowing fine except she really didn’t like what he had to say. She said that he called himself a “Liberal-tarian” and that ticked her off. She also said when she asked him his religion he answered, “I am Catholic and Buddhist and Hindu.” Poor boy couldn’t decide, apparently. Anyway, she will write him today letting him know it was a no go in her mind.

This morning I struggled to get up early. I will admit that I did roll over and fall back to sleep for a few minutes. The dream I had was intense and long considering it was only a few minutes I slept. The last part that actually woke me up had me looking up into the morning sky at my parents’ house. Up in the air I saw a large plane making its way into the atmosphere. Suddenly I remembered 911 and I feared the plane might be shot down. Sure enough, the plane plummeted down into the yard of the neighbors behind us. I closed the back door to keep the smoke out and I screamed for Lisa, Mom and Dad. My screams woke me.

I guess it is just my nerves. Tonight I leave for Chicago.
