Just finished a Cobb Salad and a glass of house red wine. I actually ate a roll! Usually I leave them on my tray to be picked up and thrown away. Carbs are evil. The scale may say otherwise but I think I have lost weight based on how well my pants are fitting. What really helped me is on the train ride back to Philly last Friday, Glenn told me he liked sitting close to me because I am “squishy.” SQUISHY! That isn’t good. A little later in the conversation he asked how I liked his goatee and I said, “It isn’t too bad, at least it doesn’t give you “crotch mouth.” Next time I saw him, he was clean shaven. I guess we are even.
I left work early today. 5:30. If I was motivated I would have walked to Daley Plaza and visited the Kristkindlmarkt. Instead I came back to my room and worked on the USAToday crossword puzzle and ordered room service. Maybe I will rent a movie. Maybe I will just watch TV. I don’t know.
The Cobb Salad is feeling kinda heavy in my stomach.

Carbs ARE evil.
They have caused me a great deal of discomfort over my life without even knowing that they were the cause.
I have cut carbs completely out and my pants hang loose like billowing sails. I’ve lost about 30 pounds.
I wish I knew about carbs sooner than I did.
