Waiting

Waiting for Glenn to arrive. We’re going to spend the day in NYC. I can hardly wait although I would be lying if I didn’t say I am slightly worried. I just hope everything goes okay. My hair doesn’t look as nice as it did yesterday. It’s a little flat. That’s what happens when I move from hotel water to normal tap water. I wanted to bring my black leather backpack my Aunt Helen gave me so I could carry a few extra things, but I can’t find it. Am I even dressed okay? Is the weather going to be really cold and I am going to freeze my butt off? URGh! Glenn is coming to pick me up at the Donna Villa and I cleaned as much as I could in the short time I had to prepare. I am not sure if I should wear my boots or my mules. My boots would be warmer but they are pleather and I haven’t worn them that much so if I wear them I could find myself in pain and or sopping in sweat. I guess I’ll wear my mules. They are comfortable but they don’t cover my calf so I might be a little cold. Better cold than blistered, I guess.
He should be here any minute. I better do a last sweep of the Villa. This is going to be a good day. I will be myself and have fun. Genau!
