Saturday night I took Lisa, Mom, and Dad to the Wycombe Inn for their Oktoberfest Feast. This is the same restaurant that I went to last year with Barb and George. The wursts, white sauerkraut, red sauerkraut, and Spätzle were just as delicious as last year. Afterward, Lisa and I walked around New Hope. We both ate so much we had to at least attempt to walk some of it off.

There were so many people wandering around New Hope we decided to just get a beer. Sitting at the Logan Inn, I noticed a couple that must have been very much in love. How else to explain their complete and total obliviousness to their surroundings? And this isn’t the first time it’s happened, either. It is something I am seeing more and more AND I DON’T LIKE IT. Let me say that this isn’t just typical PDA (Public Displays of Affection). This is something that shouldn’t occur in public. What is it these men are doing? They are either touching their girlfriend’s crack or in the even fouler instance, they are actually placing their hand/arm down the back of their girlfriend’s jeans. It is foul and repulsive and it is happening more and more. PLEASE STOP!

I agree with you 100%, I usually keep PDA’s to a minimum. Maybe a small kiss or something like that. But I have been noticing lots of people touching, everywhere…. What is funny to me though, it I notice lots of older women acting this way. I just laugh and shake my head, not much I can do. Have a good one.

    Hi Donna,
I really like your website. Great writing. How was New Hope after the flood a few weeks ago? My favorite restaurant there is Martine’s. Logan Inn is nice too.

Hey, i was in New Hope on Saturday night too. Briefly though. I went to the maze at Howell Farm then stopped for a bite to eat at some restaurant there. In other news, i started up my own blog page too. I just started it yesterday. So it’s not much right now. Give it time. I won’t even tell you the address yet, but you can find it if you want, 🙂
