I feel like the biggest dummkopf. The County Theater is playing Mulholland Drive which I missed when it first came out. I’ve been looking forward to seeing it ever since I found out the County would be playing it as part of their Spring Cinematheque Series. Finally the date rolls around and I get ready– put on makeup and do my hair. I even packed some pecans in a little plastic bag to munch on during the film. I grabbed my purse and tried to find my car keys. They were nowhere to be found. I looked out the window and noticed my car was missing. Suddenly it hit me. Lisa’s car is at the mechanic and she borrowed mine. I knew that but conveniently forgot. Now I am all dressed up with no place to go. DUMMKOPF! And I really wanted to see Mulholland Drive.
