Drove from Key West to Fort Lauderdale today. (Did I mention we rented a convertible?) We plan on spending the remaining vacation days on the beach. This has been nice vacation– relaxing and fun. I just wish hotels didn’t charge an arm and a leg to connect to the Internet.

1. We saw an Elvis impersonator riding a tractor down I-95 on the way to the Keys.
2. Got caught in a torrential downpour standing on a pier in Deerfield Beach (2 sopping wet girls amid a group of fishermen- fun!)
3. Stood in front of the Sloppy Joe’s Web cam last night, waving to Mom and Dad.
