So I didn’t get the position I wanted. Now I am vying for another Product Manager position. I will be going to Chicago next week to interview for it. Hopefully things will be different this time. I really want this job…not as much as the last one, but this one will do. I even bought a new suit for the interview!

So last Monday, Lisa, Audra and I went to Havanna’s for Karaoke. Audra and I got up and sang “These Boots are Made for Walking.” Let me just say that I really wasn’t in to it as I approached the stage– but once on the stage, looking out at the people, seeing the bright lights…the spirit of Nancy Sinatra came over me and every single Elvis Presley movie I ever saw came flooding back! Next thing I know I am doing the Shimmy, the Shuffle, and the Monkey! It was one hell of a kick ass rendition!!! Everyone screamed and cheered us on…it was soooo cool. Now if I could only land this stupid job.
