It’s in the code– In order to see it you have to right mouse click and choose view page source. Apparently the point is for the googlebot to find the spam links and index them. I haven’t fixed it yet– I have no clue how they are able to upload this crap onto my server. Luckily it’s only affecting this Web site and not my other ones. FINGERS CROSSED IT STAYS CONTAINED HERE.
You might try the WP Exploit Scanner, which goes through your stuff and identifies files that have been screwed with.

Your directory or file permissions may be off, which would allow someone to download and re-upload your source files via FTP. MT required that some files had public access permissions, but I think WP is much cleaner. None of my (rarely touched) WP sites have been corrupted.
