This really freaks me out– I found this URL listed in my referrers list. It is a direct copy of Donnaville’s homepage from August 2008. Why is it there? What is this person doing with it? I went to the root of the site but it isn’t a Web page– it’s more like someone’s using it for online storage. I am not finding any email address where I can write and ask him to cease and desist. Should I just ignore it? What should I do?

I think he just saved up a bunch of pages for future reference, and that he fancies himself a hackish type. (If he were actually a computer vandal, the first thing he’d do would be to make his directory listing unreadable.)

You could try contacting them.
Looks like they did a capture of your site on that day. For what purpose? … who knows :-/
More info on the registrant for that domain. There’s a phone number but it’s kind of a long distance phone call.

I work at DreamHost. This was likely me testing something from a ticket you opened and I just never deleted the files from my colo’d server on DH’s network. I went ahead and removed them for you now though.
