Condemned

I had a nightmare last night. I dreamed that I was condemned to death by a group of Indians who drove a horse and buggy. They parked outside of this huge theater where a celebrity awards show was taking place. The Indians tied me to the back of the coach and told me the cruelest form of torture and eventual death awaited me and they would be back once the awards show ended. Apparently quite a few people knew of my sentence because my family came to visit me. No one really seemed very concerned. A female priest came by and read me my last rites She then told me that Psalm 10 should comfort me because it’s about a guy who suffered terribly through inhumane technical support. Finally Robert dropped by and I pleaded with him to untie me and we could run away and live in the woods like Hester Prynne. Rob said that it was silly to try to hide from them since they would track us. He gave me a kiss and said goodbye. Just as I thought I heard the Indians approach, I awoke.

I really think you missed your calling as a writer. I’m not nearly this clever.

“Psalm 10 should comfort me because it’s about a guy who suffered terribly through inhumane technical support”

Were these Indians or “Native Americans”? In other words, Raj or Tonto?
