I was kinda aware of St Patrick’s Day. Wasn’t sure of the exact day but on Friday I noticed an awful lot of people wearing green. I have no roots in Ireland and so the holiday didn’t and doesn’t hold much meaning for me. Regardless, I WANT A SHAMROCK SHAKE! I am hungering for that minty green confection!

For St. Joseph’s Day, it’ll be the “Sfogliatelle shake” – ricotta, sugar, egg yolk, a bit of orange, and maybe a little anise?

Ian: exactly! 😀 I think it would have to be a red shake though – green for st.pat’s – red for st.joe’s. I am so conflicted. I am 1/2 Irish and 1/2 Italian.
I’m Irish, and not Italian at all, but I’d definitely take the pastry flavored shake over mint-yuck.

Not yet– maybe tonight I will endulge– if I can only find a Micky D’s that has them.
