I found this video extremely entertaining– but I am a child of the 80’s!

Okay– let’s name the influences…
Obviously, Karate Kid
And Raising Arizona
But I also caught a couple of Cars videos too! You Might Think (the bug with a human head) and Magic (walking on water)
Any other influences that I missed?

    Yeah, I didn’t think you would get the Pulp Fiction one where the guy gets hit by the car.

    But I think I found another 80s cameo. Is that not Mr. Belding from “Saved By the Bell” playing the pizza shop owner in the beginning?

    I knew what was coming when I saw Butch’s apartment complex.

    So we’ve got 1984, 1987, and 1994. The “Mr. Belding” shot would balance it all out! 🙂

    Yeah– I watched Pulp Fiction with both hands covering my eyes– I wouldn’t get any reference to it. 🙂 I was wondering about the guy in the beginning, he looked so familiar– no wonder! Mr Belding!

    Funny thing is that I grew up just blocks from the old South Seas aprt complex from Karate Kid. And, final fight scenes were filmed at my alma mater, Cal State Northridge. Just some KK fun facts.

    Also just realized this band’s name, No More Kings, is an 80s reference itself–from Schoolhouse Rock: That’s called taxation without representation, and IT’S NOT FAIR!
