If I were smart, I would buy a ticket and go to Florida for a couple days. Get away from the the winter. I am feeling seasonally-affected. Or perhaps my life is just crap. No, I prefer to think it’s the season. I shouldn’t complain. It’s not like I have a distended belly from starvation and tons of flies covering my face. Angelina isn’t trying to save me! Last night I went to CVS and bought some B6 tablets. Supposedly it gives you energy. That is, if it isn’t being passed through the system, undigested. The winter has been relatively mild. I guess it doesn’t matter how warm and bright it is during the day when all I see is darkness in the morning and darkness in the evening. I gotta get out at lunchtime. Easy to say not so easy to do.

If you live in a climate where you don’t get much sunlight in Winter months, taking Vitamin D supplements is essential.
National Institutes of Health offer an excellent primer on Vitamin D3: http://www.ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/VitaminD_pf.asp).
At a minimum, NIH’s research is impressive (your tax dollars at work).
I don’t want to sound like an infomercial, but, after taking 1000 IU (International Units) supplements daily (for several weeks), the difference is noticeable. Wish I had known about this years ago.
Going in to work before the sun is up and not getting out in the evening until after sundown can certainly take a psychological toll. Make sure to get enough rest and stay away from sick people.
B6 causes you to have really vivid dreams. Lots of fun when you’re an artist!
If Florida won’t do it for you, the missus and me really like Grand Cayman. It’s expensive, but worth it.
Darn it…
a little concerned, please get some extra rest. If it helps know spring is on the way.
