Dinner tonight was All Bran cereal stirred into a cup of Activia Yogurt and a bottle of Heineken beer to wash it down.
Yesterday Rob and I were surfing the Web and we saw an online music review that stated that the best rock album of the year is by a new band called My Chemical Romance. We immediately queued them up and discovered they were terrible. Rob was extremely upset by their sound and he said, “I pity the youth of today! This music sucks!” He then did something that he does rather often. He queued up Rainbow’s Since You’ve Been Gone on Youtube and he struck a pose in which he stretched his one arm up over his head and his other hand he placed on his hip. “NOW THIS IS MUSIC!” He yelled as he nodded his head to the music.

He does look like Jim Carrey, but only with the sunglasses on. Does Rob like Dio by any chance?
AMEN ROB! My Chemical Fart and all the post-emo crud is NOT music. It all sounds the same, they all sing about the same crap, and NONE of these tiddlywinks approaches musical talent.
“Brand New” is one exception though. Check out the album “Deja Entendu” on a DECENT sound system. Go right to the last track called “Play crack the sky”
It will blow you away, and the rest of the album is not bad either.
Well, I never!!!!!! I just told both Lisa and Aprille that my favorite new group is ‘My Chemical Romance’. They were on one of the late night talk shows a week or so ago. Then I saw their video ‘Welcome to the Black Parade’ on utube and I was hooked.
I happened to love MCR!! They have an awesome sound that has not only an unique character but also has a youthful vibe that you might be too old to enjoy! Luckily I take after Mommie!
“Too old” to enjoy MCR? That’s as wrong as saying a 15 year old can’t “appreciate” Mozart or “understand” the Beatles.
That said, I WOULD accept:
