Another demonstration of how truly disconnected I am with the times. I saw the following headline, “Good Morning America” signs Cuomo as news anchor, and I thought, “Good for Perry!”
I know the spelling is different and Perry is dead, no one likes nitpicks
“Sing to me, Mr. C, sing to me…
the song that I’ve been waiting to hear”.
“Thirteen, thirteen United States….”
“Katarina…ho ho ho”.
No question that Cuomo has those “rare talents” that are sought after by the media:
1. His father was a Democrat governor
2. He’s a lawyer, which means that actual work is as alien to
him as it is to news reporters
(Cokie Roberts, another ABC news “reporter” also has a “rare talent”…her father was a Democrat politician from Lousiana)
The real “rare talent” belongs to media folk who aren’t related
to Democrat politicians or who haven’t written speeches for them.
Good, now I feel better.
