I tried to make scrambled eggs in the microwave. It didn’t quite come out right. As long as my coffee is okay, I’m okay. My voice is still hoarse. I am overdosing on cough drops. The package says do not exceed 4 cough drops in 1 day. Heck! I’m sucking down 4 in an hour! Last night my mom gave me cough syrup. It didn’t help. I took another dose a couple hours later and that too did nothing for me. I can’t wait until my body is able to completely heal herself of this horrible bug.

Do yourself a favor and try Robitussin DM (for Cough). It costs about $7.50 a bottle and is a wonder drug.
I came back from Mexico with a wicked URI (Upper Respiratory Infection); my doctor recommended it to stop the coughing, and it did.
If your cough doesn’t clear it up after three days of taking Robitussin, go to the doctor!!
When I went (last Friday) there were about 20 people in the waiting room with similar issues – something is going around.

I’m using a generic version of Robitussin. It’s not at all soothing AND it seems to be making me cough more. I can’t take this coughing much more.
