Yesterday, Lisa and I stopped at Michael’s Craft Store to buy a frame and mat for our signed Lestat poster. While there, we noticed they had unfinished wooden Adirondack chairs for $25.00! They are normally $50.00. Lisa told me that this is exactly what we want. It’s better to do wood than plastic and we can choose the color we want. So I bought 4 chairs. Then we went to Home Depot and we bought a dark brown stain, 2 paintbrushes, and 1 pack of sandpaper ($27.00 + $3.00 + $3.00). Lisa assured me we can achieve a Moroccan feel by adding red pillows to the chairs. I think when all is said and done we will have spent about the same amount of money as we would have had we just bought the chairs already finished, but this is going to be fun.

i am glad you found a good chair. i am sure they will look great at your house. i had some like that but due to my enourmous girth and big boned frame (i weigh 653 pounds) they tend to snap like twigs. i had to go to the doctors to remove pieces of the last one from my backside. anyway, enjoy your chairs
