Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful. My hair normally looks flat and crappy, that is until Aprille from Salon 39 cuts it and makes it oh so beautiful!

Before Salon 39, I HATED going to the hair salon, HATED IT! I felt silly sitting with wet hair, having some person touching my scalp and fingering my hair. I never felt comfortable giving a tip even though I knew it was expected and typical. All of this ended when I started going to Salon 39. I absolutely love going, it is so much fun. I love getting my scalp massaged with the shampoo. I can sit there for hours reading silly fashion magazines and chatting with Aprille and Danielle. Last night, because I mentioned Audra’s upcoming wedding, Danielle started to describe her ideal wedding. She said it was in Mexico with the honeymoon in Hawaii and her groom would be George Clooney even though he is GAY GAY GAY! Aprille protested saying she wouldn’t allow him to be gay. Then everyone started talking about which celebrities were gay. A very old woman said, “Rock Hudson was gay!” At any rate, it was just a hoot!

Now I am busy packing for Audra’s wedding. I thought I would only take a half day but it looks like I am taking a full day off from work. So much to do and not enough time to do it. It’s my fault. Instead of going straight home from the salon I went out and had drinks with Danielle and Aprille! That could explain my headache too.
