I’m back from the Dress for Success workshop. Did you know how important it is to keep your hair brushed and always wear clean clothes that don’t smell? It’s true! Dirty fingernails are not a “do.” Who would have ever imagined?
Lisa and I are meeting Daddy and together we’re going to the Philadelphia Car Show. Should be fun. Lisa and Dad went last year and had a blast.
What if the clean clothes smell good?
Jeez, I didn’t know that the “Dress for Success” operation still existed. The work world has changed an awful lot from the time when it was initially popular; hopefully they’ve updated their approach.
I have been going to a Career Consulting agency and every Tuesday they hold meetings– this one was conducted by one of their “Career Consultants.” It was pretty silly. Everything seemed like good ole common sense to me.
And John– clean, good smelling clothes would be a “Do,” unless it is an overwhelming good smell and then it would be a “Don’t.”
