I had a night from hell and Bobo is responsible. How it happened, I am not sure, but he was positively worked up to an almost manic state last night. It was time for us to go to bed and he wanted to run from room to room and spin around. Lisa had a meeting in the morning so I told her I would deal with him. I tried to calm him but nothing worked. He just wanted to bury bones in my bed. I eventually fell asleep despite the fact that he was dancing atop my sheets. At 4am he started to nibble at my fingers and once I was awake he made it clear he had to pee. I AM NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT THAT– I like it when he tells me he has to pee, I just wish he could have held it a couple more hours. I know he is a little dog but he pees so much. At 7, at 11, at 2, at 5, at 8, at 11, and sometimes at 4am. And if I try to get him to wait, he pees in the dining room. When will he develop the ability to hold his urine? I thought by now we would be at every 6-8 hours. Grrrrrl!

I feel your pain. Just this morning I was standing outside at 4:48 AM in 28 degree darkness trying to get Macy to pee instead of play. I’m really blessed I guess, because on the rare days the dogs actually sleep in, the cat is bellowing at 5 AM to be fed. Ahhh… the joys of pets!
^^ Yes I know the feeling, but since I actually am up by 5:00 its not too bad. I don’t like it though when the cat wakes me up at 2:30 am to be fed or play (by scratching my feet).
