I made two extremely stupid faux pas last night, witnessed by Lisa. We went to the Dollar Store because we heard they had retractable leashes. Standing there in the pet aisle, Lisa showed me that they had boxes of plastic bags specifically for picking up dog doo. “How much does it cost?” I asked.
Lisa looked at me like I was insane and said, “We’re in the DOLLAR STORE!”
Later as we watched INXS Rockstar, I said, “I wonder if they shot this show months ago or if it’s live.”
Again Lisa looked at me like I was insane and said, “It’s pretty much live, Donna— how else is it that we can VOTE! Hello!?! McFly!?!?!”
Maybe I need more than a few days vacation… maybe I need a couple of months off.

I went to your dollar store today and I LOVED it! You were right….they had nice things. U could easily have mistaken them for being more than one dollar, in fact there were a few things in there marked higher!
