Last night I struggled to fall asleep. My body hurt and it continues to hurt. I feel puffy and achy and I have no clue why. It’s either the Go Go Robics or that damn bee shot me full of a deadly venom that is slowly eating away at my muscles.

I have to call the Commerce Bank Amphitheater to see if they allow food and drink in addition to blankets and lawn chairs.

The opening act is The Rip Chords of “Hey Little Cobra” fame.

Oh Oh Oh OHHHHH! I just checked the World Famous Pontani Sisters’ Web site and they’re performing with Los Straitjackets at the Bethlehem Musikfest, August 9 and 11th! Guess who will be in the audience? ME! (The RED ELVISES are also performing!! I may need to take a vacation that week)

I bought an Italian Hoagie for lunch and ate half of it. The other half I saved for dinner. The entire day has been spent listening to LuxiuriaMusic, I must get my 25¢ worth. This evening I did Go Go Robics II. I am getting better but I still have a far way to go, bumps aren’t easy.

Tomorrow is the Herman’s Hermits concert! Can you call it a Herman’s Hermits concert if Peter Noone is the only originial Hermit? Of course, he was known as Herman, wasn’t he? I recall seeing them back in 1986. They opened for the Monkees on the 20th Anniversary Tour. I am quite sure Peter wasn’t in attendence, there was some other guy singing. I guess I am finally coming full circle.

I’ve been listening to LuxiuriaMusic on and off now for a couple of months. When the urge for Outré lounge and Latin jazz, breezy swinging instrumentals and vocals, groovy 60’s go-go and 70’s Bollywood soundtracks, psychedelia, quirky oddities, retro pop and surf music strikes, I surf over to their Web site and click on the free stream for Windows Media Player at 32kbps. There are a few other options, one of which is a paid Hi-Definition Stream Pass but I’ve always ignored that option because I am a tightfist. Today, the planets must have aligned because I thought I would give it a go; I mean, it’s just 25¢ for a day pass. OH MY GOODNESS! It sounds great! I mean really great! I had no idea how fuzzy the free stream sounded until I compared it with the high definition stream. This is definitely worth 25¢! Good thing it’s so cheap because I can now never go back to the free stream.

I hate getting older. Every morning I wake up feeling puffy.

Tomorrow I am going to a Herman’s Hermits concert! I can hardly wait. It’s open air so I need to go to my parent’s house tonight and borrow lawn chairs.

Can you believe my arm is still swollen from the bee sting? I hope it heals soon. The itching is driving me bonkers.

This afternoon I should go swimming. I bet there’s not too many people at the pool and it would be so very relaxing. If only I weren’t such a lazy butt.

Verizon FIOS was connected Friday afternoon. I hate to say this but I really don’t see a huge difference in speed. I suppose it doesn’t matter how fast you can download if you are downloading information from a slow server.

Last night at my parent’s house, my mom took a look at my swollen arm and told me to take some Benadryl. I swallowed two pills and promptly forgot about it. At dinner, we ate Walt’s fish and I had a glass of wine. About 40 minutes later I began to feel groggy. My father was talking to me but it seemed he was talking like the parents in the Peanut’s cartoon specials. Wah Wah Wah Wah.

Instead of sticking around Lisa and I went home. I immediately went into my bedroom and layed down on the couch. It seemed as if I was about ready to just pass out so I moved to my bed and quickly fell asleep. The time was about 7:30. I woke up at 6:00. That’s a lot of sleeping. I had strange dreams that I opened a deli with the mother and father from That 70’s Show. I don’t feel refreshed. My arm isn’t as swollen but it still is itchy and sore. I wish I could sleep some more. Hopefully my coffee will kick in soon.

About a week or so ago, my father brought over my old bicycle. Today, I took it for a spin around the development. I felt 11-years-old again. The only difference is I didn’t pretend to shoot laser beams from my wrists as I sped around corners.

I got stung again. On the back of my forearm. Oh, it hurts! And it is swollen and red. Not good at all.

Lisa and I just got back from a Flea Market. We didn’t buy anything of consequence. At around 5 we’re going to Mom & Dad’s. We’re bringing the fish Walt caught in Alaska. Since Mom is cooking it, it should be tasty. I am thinking in the meantime I should go for a swim. If the water is cool, it should be soothing to my sore arm. Of course, I also should do some Go-Go Robics.

I am home. It was a nice evening. Now it’s time to sleep.

Today I completed Go-Go Robics I! The music for this routine was Chica Alborotada by Los Straitjackets. Both DVDs are exactly what I wanted– Go-Go dance moves! I am having a ton of fun dancing to it and I am really getting a good workout. On Go-Go Robics II they have quite a few special features. One of which is a couple music videos of the Pontani sisters dancing around and they remind me of the scopitones on Spike’s Web site.

Last night I went to the Ghoul a Go-Go Web site and you won’t believe who guested on one of their episodes! THE WORLD FAMOUS PONTANI SISTERS! It’s crazy how things intersect.
