I am all Go-Go-ed out!

Lisa and I just finished Go-Go Robics II! We did an entire Go-Go dance routine to the 5.6.7.8’s song, Barracuda! I LOVE THE PONTANI SISTERS!!!!!

I also really like the 5.6.7.8’s. Here are the lyrics to another one of their songs, Woo Hoo:

Woo hoo woo hoo hoo….yeah

Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo

Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo

Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo

Oh, yeah

Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo
Woo hoo woo hoo hoo

Hooking up

Watched Hooking Up this evening. I turned it off halfway through and went for a walk. I needed air. The show made me feel very queasy. It’s a reality show about online dating. I didn’t see anything that fit with my reality. Could you imagine if a tv crew was to follow me around? They wouldn’t get anything juicy.

To Be or not to be

On Sunday I had a date. I got myself all pretty pretty and headed to my car. There were some bees flying around my side mirror and I thought to myself, “There must be a nest in there- Must remember to spray!” Well, I drove to Newtown, parked and got out of the car. As the car door slammed behind me, I heard a buzzing. Suddenly a bee flew right into my face AND STUNG ME ON MY NOSE! I was in shock! What do I do? My eHarmony match is waiting for me and I have a stinger protruding from the side of my honker. I climbed back into my car and removed the stinger. My skin looked red but it didn’t seem too awful so I went to the designated meeting place. I played it like nothing had happened, as if my nose is usually a bit red and swollen. He probably assumed my jitters had more to do with meeting him than the fact I was attacked by a bee.

Have you noticed the new fashion of wearing a tie front ballet shirt? There were tons of girls in Chicago wearing them but I swear they weren’t wearing them correctly. The girls tied them too tight and up too high so the knot was between their boobs. It looked like they were channeling Dody Goodman from the movie Splash. Remember that scene where she wore her bra on the outside of her clothes? Horrible, just horrible.

There was fliming going on at Midway’s Southwest terminal last night. I really should watch that show on A&E. I am constantly walking through filming areas and I should think I may have made it on TV by now. Although boarding was on time, we sat on the tarmac for hours. A storm blew by a few hours earlier and just backed everything up. When we finally got up in the air, I looked out my window and was absolutely floored by the beauty. The Nevada One soared past the puffiest clouds dotting a sky that was pink and blue and white and orange. It was incredible and I made a note to sit by the window more often.

I bought 2 workout DVDs from Amazon yesterday. Go-Go Robics: Starring the World Famous Pontani Sisters and The Pontani Sisters – Go-Go Robics II. The synopsis says the sisters teach you how to frug and twist but I am wondering if it isn’t so much Go-Go as it is Burlesque because Amazon now keeps suggesting titles like: Aerobic Striptease and Fit to Strip. The DVDs should arrive tomorrow so we shall see!

Remember the blueberry pie scene in Stand By Me?

I ordered room service and ate far too much. The binge was fun but now that it’s over I feel sick and just want to vomit. Don’t worry! I’ll keep it down.

Last night I watched that Lisa Kudrow show, “The Comeback.” IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!! Avoid at all costs!

Tomorrow I go home.

Here I am

I have a corner suite overlooking the river. It’s a nice view. My afternoon meeting went well. So well that we planned an extra long follow up meeting tomorrow.

CHI

Off I go to Chicago. I am actually looking forward to getting away for a few days. Although I would rather be getting away to the beach than Chicago for all day meetings.

Blob a Go-Go

What a fantabulous weekend! On Friday, Lisa, Audra, Steve, Mr. John Beck and I reenacted the famous running out of the Colonial Theater at Blobfest 2005 in Phoenixville, PA. Last night, Lisa, Audra, Bobo and I went back to the Colonial Theater to watch a late night double feature: Robot Monster and The Blob! Yes, we sat in the exact same theater that the Blob attacked! All I can say is that it was THRILLING! During Robot Monster, bubbles were blown from the balcony, filling the theater and every time Ro-man appeared on screen, a man in the same costume ran up and down the aisle. Creighton from Ghoul a Go-Go was on hand for both the reenactment and the double feature. In between the movies, Ghoul a Go-Go played and I am now going crazy trying to find out when it airs in Philadelphia. I have a very strong feeling Uncle Floyd is somehow involved with this show. I can feel it in my heart, the heart that Uncle Floyd broke on a weekly basis when he refused to display the crayon artwork I would lovingly craft and send to him for his show.

I think I finally found an application that will allow me to post pictures with ease. I’ve been playing with it and so far, I love it. It’s called Folderblog. Not only have I found it easy to use, but I had NO problems setting it up! That is quite unusual since pretty much everything on donnaville.com is held together with spit and duct tape. At any rate, here is the page I set up. Right now it has pictures from Blobfest, but I will be posting other pictures shortly.

nothing

I can’t find my cell phone recharger cord. Where are you? It seems I am constantly losing it.

What should I wear to the reenactment tonight? I’m thinking peddle pushers and that 1950’s shirt I bought at H&M a couple months ago. I hope it doesn’t rain!

Must clean house. Must clean house. Must clean house.

I’ve got the itch!

I’m looking forward to tomorrow. It’s the annual reenactment of the running out of the Colonial which ushers in a weekend of Blobfest.

This evening, Lisa and I watched the latest John Waters’ movie, A Dirty Shame. It’s a dirty shame John can’t seem to come up with any new ideas.

Bobo is coming along fine. We are keeping him pretty drugged up. Thank goodness for beef-flavored painkillers.
