The Swimmer

I went swimming! It’s true! I donned my fluorescent pink two-piece, grabbed my bike and cycled down to the pool. The pool was practically empty. One family congregated in the low end. Around the pool there were a few people scattered, sunning themselves. When I see people laying in the sun, I think of that Hercule Poirot film, Evil Under the Sun. There is a scene where Poirot looks on at a beach of sunning people and remarks that they look like pieces of meat on the griddle, or something to that extent. It was fun floating and swimming. I wish Lisa was more interested in swimming because I think I would stay longer and go more often if I wasn’t going alone.

Now I must do my expenses and clean my bedroom and bathroom. I can do it!
