I’ve been listening to a band from my youth, The Hooters. Gosh, they were good. It’s a shame they didn’t have more success. I wonder if it bothers them that their name is now being used for a silly theme restaurant? I used to have a Hooters T-shirt (from the restaurant) that I enjoyed wearing just to see people’s reactions. I remember wearing it once and being approached and asked if I worked at Hooters. I replied: “Yeah, in the back, but once I get my double bubbles, they’re putting me out front, BABY!”

Apparantly The Hooters are big in Europe. Ha. I didn’t mean it that way. Anyway, the drummer goes to DeLorenzo’s sometimes. I’ve waited on him a number of times.
i love the Hooters…Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers as well…both came up about at the same time but the Hooters got more press and Tommy Conwell changed his style for the major release which i thought was a mistake…still love Robert Hazard though…can’t get enough of “I’m ridding on the escalator of life/i’m shopping at a human mall” great stuff!! did you know that the hooters opened up at live aid back in 85?
