My dream last night brands me forever as a nerd. I had a little calculator-like gadget. When I pointed it at an object and pressed a little button, its LCD would light up with the object’s IP address. I was so impressed with this little device and surprised that everyday objects possessed an IP address.

The copier in the hallway, in fact, has an IP address, though I don’t think I’ve ever actually sent anything there.

I actually have been branded one since I was in junior high (20+ years ago).
On the side, wouldn’t it be interesting when people have IP addresses?
