The Philadelphia Museum of Art extended the Salvador Dalí Exhibition. Lisa and I were finally able to get tickets! In fact, not only did we get tickets, we became museum members. I figured it would give us something to do during the summertime and possibly give us an opportunity to meet more people. We shall see.

I am jealous, I also have it on fairly good authority, this exhibit will not be in Arkansas any time soon…..
Ooh, a Dali Exhibition was shown in London recently.. I wonder if it was the same one. It was very good :). Do report back on what was there! 🙂
I’ve been in Philly a couple of times and missed seeing the Art Museum. A few years ago I went to the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida and was reminded that Dali and Alice Cooper were buddies. Yes, Alice (“I’m 18!”) Cooper. Not surprisingly…both had outrageous public personas in their day.
I’m going to my nephew’s graduation in Pittsburgh in early June. I’ve never been there but I’ve looked at some travel websites gatthering ideas
for fun things to see and do. Any unusual attraction in Pittsburgh that doesn’t usually make the guide books? I’m going to E. Carson Street and The Strip for a little entertainment.
Suggestions would be appreciated.
I’ve only been to Pittsburgh a couple of times– it is quite a distance from Philly, probably about 4 or 5 hours. I’m afraid I am of no help.
