Tick Tock

I used up all my dialup hours this month. That means every extra hour I am on I’ll be charged $2.00. I guess that isn’t too bad.

On my way to work, I pass a radio station. There is always a group of people in the studio doing a morning show. At first I didn’t pay much attention to it. Then one day I was reading Marie Claire and there was a story about a girl who married her boss who hosts a Chicago morning radio show and I realized, “HEY! That’s the guy I pass every morning.” Soon after that I started to wonder what the show was like but since I went to bed with Dick Biondi, I naturally woke up with Paul Perry. Sure I could change the radio station but in the morning I am brain dead. So I just walk by and look in the window to check the time on the clock behind them on the wall and think, I really should listen to this show. Well, the other day, I finally listened to it and let me tell you, Mancow disappointed me. In fact, he annoyed me. Now I don’t even check the clock on the wall behind them as I walk by.

I flew Southwest yesterday since ATA has discontinued their flights from Philly. The real reason I chose Southwest is that it flies to Midway and not Ohare. Ohare is a horrible airport. Midway is tolerable. I didn’t mind Southwest. I got to pick a nice seat and the Flight Attendant gave me two bags of peanuts and a WHOLE CAN OF WATER! I felt like the luckiest passenger in the whole world!

Yep, I tend to NOT like O’Hare. Its just way too big to get around easily. Plus I’m a southwest/westcoast person. I feel way out of place on the East Coast. Its funny though, I do feel right at home in Boston though. Anyways take it easy and don’t work too hard.

I love your method of recording your Chicago trips. All the photos have the exact same painting in the background. Are you in the same room every trip or are all the rooms cloned?

Each week I am in a different room but they all look pretty much the same. I just balance my cell phone on my desk and set it to self timer.
