Went to the Wine & Spirits shop and bought Christmas HOOCH! Yup, I got me some spiced red wine a.k.a. Glühwein!!!! It will taste very good, I am sure. Hopefully Audgie will visit and help me drink it. [Hint, Hint!]
Last night I was watching VH-1’s I Love the 80’s and the guy from the State and Viva Variety was on… trying desperately to be funny. Maybe I will see Rik Mayall on a show tonight. (Craig: My favorites were Rik and Neil and I too was shocked to see a recent photo of Bud Cort) Also on I Love the 80’s, was footage from the fall of the Berlin wall; namely David Hasselhoff perched upon the wall (wearing a leather jacket that lights up), singing a song about Freedom as the crowd of Germans went wild. Gosh, I remember being so moved by images of the young East Germans in their jeans and red handkerchief headbands, standing triumphantly on the wall. Back when we were together, Herr R had given me a picture of himself from that time. He wore a jean jacket and his hair was in a long mullet; it looked like he fell right off the wall. God, I loved that picture.
