I spent New Year’s Eve watching Elvis Presley movies on TV. Not a bad way to start the New Year!

Tonight Peter Tork is playing in Bryn Mawr, I hope Lisa and I can go! Now, I’ve been to 2 Monkee Reunion Concerts. The last concert our seats were really close to the stage. At one point, Peter stood directly in front of us playing his guitar and as he strummed with exuberance, Lisa and I got drenched in salty Tork sweat!!! Now I look back at that moment rather fondly but at the time I was disgusted. I remember yelling “Ugh! I have Tork sweat on me!” Being the trooper that I am, I simply wiped the offensive sweat from my brow and went right back to dancing to “Not Your Steppin’ Stone!”

At any rate, I really feel that the Beatles are over-rated, the Monkees are just so much better!!!
