I wandered lonely as a cloud/
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,/
When all at once I saw a crowd,/
A host of golden daffodils,/
Beside the lake, beneath the trees/
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze./

For oft, when on my couch I lie/
In vacant or in pensive mood,/
They flash upon that inward eye/
Which is the bliss of solitude;/
And then my heart with pleasure fills,/
And dances with the daffodils.

Exactly one month. My calendar is chock full, I decided to really overload so I will be too busy to think about the days passing. Next week I have Baltimore, the week after Boston, the week after Las Vegas and the week after that Lake Geneva, Wisconsin!
I am not only impatiently waiting for July 14th but I am also impatiently awaiting the arrival of a VHS video tape I bought at Bigstar.
SO I was staying at the Hilton near Melville on Long Island, watching TV when I happened across this great movie on Showtime. The movie: Goodbye, Columbus; the actor Richard Benjamin; the actress Ali MacGraw. I could only watch part of the movie because I had already arranged dinner with a business associate and I didn’t think it was proper to call and say, “Hey man, this great movie from the ’60s is on and I would much prefer watching it than eating with you.” It’s not really me to even preface a statement with “Hey man.” So anyway, the movie haunted me days afterward. There was just something about Richard Benjamin. And I needed to know what happened… does Rich marry Ali? Does Ali’s parents’ catch Rich sneaking into their daughter’s room for a night of permarital bliss? With curiosity killing me, I went onto Ebay and put a bid on the movie only to be outbid at the very last second. Frustrated and bitter I went to Bigstar and bought the damn thing for $12.74 not including shipping and handling. It’s almost a week and I haven’t received it yet.
