FLix

I decided to take back my NetFlix queue! I changed the subscription so it picks 2 from Lisa’s queue and 1 from my queue. It had been only picking from Lisa’s queue because I just didn’t have time to watch movies. Now that Lisa has cable in her room, I have much more time on my hands to watch the TV I want to watch. That means weird French movies from the 1960s. Screwball comedies. Alfred Hitchcock. Anything with Dirk Bogarde. Charles Bronson. Yul Brynner. Steve McQueen. The list could just go on and on.

Sickly

Lisa has bronchitis. The doctor gave her antibiotics. It seems as if we are at the doctor’s once a month. Wait. We are at the doctor’s once a month. Lisa works with kids and sickness comes with the territory.

To Do

Another day.

Call Howard and get an appointment to have my car fixed
Call the doctor and get an appointment for Lisa
Call Ray and set up a time to install the Heat Pump

Hmmmmm, I am hungry. That eggroll didn’t fill me up last night. I am going to boil an egg.

You must be playing with your own…

I found the most interesting font of music!

I was reading Spread the Good Word when I noticed this little embedded radio on the side of the blog. Next thing I know, the coolest music is coming out of my speakers!

One of the songs that played was a version of My Ding-A-Ling I had never heard before! Who knew it was Dave Bartholomew and not Chuck Berry that recorded this masterpiece first?

The lyrics are different, and I think DIRTIER!

Dave Bartholomew’s My Ding-a-Ling Lyrics

I have a little girl, her name is Sing
She likes to play with my ding-a-ling
My ding-a-ling is the cutest thing
When Sing plays with my ding-a-ling

My ding-a-ling, my ding-a-ling
Oh my, it’s the greatest thing
My ding-a-ling is the greatest thing
When Sing plays with my ding-a-ling

When you are young and you are on the go
Your ding-a-ling won’t ever get sore
But when you are old and you lost your sting
You don’t need the doggone thing

My ding-a-ling, my ding-a-ling
Oh my, it’s the greatest thing
My ding-a-ling is the cutest thing
When Sing plays with my ding-a-ling

There’s a little girl, she lives next door
I like to play with her Yo-Yo
She likes to play with my Yo-Yo string
But she will not play with my ding-a-ling

My ding-a-ling, my ding-a-ling
Oh my, it’s the cutest thing
My ding-a ling is the cutest thing
When Sing plays with my Ding-a-Ling

Here’s Chuck’s Ding-a-Ling Lyrics

Christmas TV MUSTS

Added by request!

Lucy suggests that he become director of the school Christmas pageant, and Charlie Brown accepts, but it proves to be a frustrating struggle. When an attempt to restore the proper spirit with a forlorn little fir Christmas tree fails, Charlie Brown needs Linus’ help to learn what the real meaning of Christmas is.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!

Woongjin Morning Rice Softdrink made from brown rice

Woongjin High Calcium Aloe Juice This is a drink made of healthy aloe, and supplemented with calcium. The soft aloe granules and fresh green grape are felt vividly

I think the Morning Rice would taste fabulous with cereal, except I don’t eat cereal. Mainly I eat pickles, triscuits, cottage cheese, boiled eggs and fiber tablets. Normally I only drink tea, coffee, grapefruit juice and water but I have started to add Woongjin drinks to my diet.

TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALL LIST

There is a special place in hell reserved for telemarketers.

Just now I received a call from an unknown number. I said, “Hello, this is Donna.” A robotic voice greeted me, “I am sorry.” CLICK. And that was it. What in the world!?!

Earlier I received a call from Retrieval Masters. They apparently have a very important message they want to tell me but they want me to call them back to hear it. The number they provided was 1-800-804-0057. They’ve been calling me for weeks so I finally decided to call them and find out what the heck this is all about. The phone rang and a recorded message played saying to call back during their office hours of 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Eastern, Monday to Friday. I CALLED WITHIN THAT TIME FRAME! Then I was told to leave a voice mail message! The audacity! I hung up.

Weatherlicious

The weather was beautiful yesterday evening. I went for 2 walks. Oddly, Bobo had no desire to walk. He turned around halfway and wanted to go home. Same thing happened this morning. The weather was pleasant yet Bo turned around halfway. Why is it that when the weather is bitter and the wind feels like a razorblade, Bo wants to go on the long walk?

Bo is doing very well. He hasn’t had an accident in quite some time. I think he was peeing because we left him alone in the house and he had full reign to do what he wanted. Since we started barricading him in the kitchen when we go out without him, the peeing has stopped.
