I have a distended belly from all the stuffing, sweet potato casserole, cranberries, pumpkin pie, and turkey! Ugh.
Today I raked the backyard and my lower back is feeling the pain. Also took Cocoa to the vet… he hasn’t been eating. The vet said that he may just need his teeth cleaned… or it’s feline leukimia! Let’s pray it is just his gums. Direct TV is giving a preview of the HBO channels which means tonight I am watching Sex and the City!!! I just love that show.
Must put in a load of laundry…. must appeal Turnpike violation ticket. Last night I dreamt I was a Native American man fleeing in a Pickup truck from an evil warlord.

P.S. Where have you gone Smitherz???

Bought Gingerbread Chalet at Target

Bought 2 Christmas Presents at TJMaxx

Bought a Crosley 1930’s Turntable for myself because I have so many records and no record player. Happened across it as TJMaxx and it was very very cheap.

Borrowed a crochet hook from my mother and yarn from my sister

Stored leftover Summer clothes and folded Winter clothes that have been lying on the floor since I retrieved them from the attic 2 weeks ago.

Realized my sore neck is from laying in bed on my side with my hand supporting my head as I read stupid fashion magazines, last night.

Is it possible to have had too much to drink on Friday and suffer the hangover on Sunday? Damn 1.75 drafts and free Buffalo Chicken wings!!!
I am feeling crafty. I want to buy a gingerbread house kit. I want to knit a scarf. Yet, I don’t want to move. Tomorrow I am going to tell MLS (my boss) that I am taking Wednesday off. Maybe I will devote the day to baking pies! Or I will stay in bed and wonder why I am destined for constant rejection by the male animal. Why does the back of my neck ache?!?!?! I hope it isn’t meningitis.
Must clean room. Must stop staring vacantly at laptop. Must move body. Must do something!

I keep seeing nuns. Within the last week I have seen maybe 5. That is more than I have seen since I was in college (Rosemont…private, Catholic, all women). Do you think it may be a sign that I should have entered the convent? Maybe I would be happier in a habit?
Of course tomorrow, Audra and I (and hopefully Lisa if she gets over her cold) are going to Happy Hour at Kahunaville so we can drink $1.75 drafts and eat free Buffalo chicken wings. That isn’t a very nun-like thing to do.
When I was younger I wanted to be a nun. Not because I was very religious, but rather because I liked the garb and also because I loved Rosalind Russell and she made that great film: The Trouble with Angels. Most girls probably identified with Hayley Mills… not me! I wanted to be Mother Superior. Did you know Rosalind Russell went to Rosemont?. So did Linda Fiorentino.
I think I am just feeling angry and want to be cloistered away. Regardless, it is odd that there are so many nuns running around.
