Christmas was truly lovely. On Christmas Eve, Rob and I spent the evening with his friends. We had the traditional Italian 7 fishes dinner. Once back at the Donnavilla, we opened our gifts to one another. I gave Rob a belt with a skull buckle (he loves skulls), a DVD set of Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations TV show (he loves Anthony Bourdain) and Guitar Hero video game for the PC (he is a musician). I am pretty sure he was very pleased with his new things!
The next day, Rob and I went to Washington Crossing park to watch the reenactment of Washington crossing the Delaware. The current was very strong and instead of rowing across, the boat was swept away. The emergency motorboat had to be sent out to tow them back to shore.

After the attempt to recreate the crossing, Rob and I went to my parents’ house. We watched the Christmas Story as my mom rushed about the kitchen. We ate around 5:00. The food was delicious! After dinner we opened gifts.
My father loved the Ikea comforter and Nikon CoolPix camera. My mom loved the slippers, pajamas and earrings. I think Rob was tickled that Lisa bought him a Darth Vader cookie jar and my mom gave him a bottle of wine. Lisa is still holding her TomTom GPS unit and I was happy to receive a poncho, 3 sets of underwear, a bracelet, a DVD of Flight of the Conchords (THANKS MOM!) and a black Coach clutch. Although, I think I was more happy that we were altogether regardless of the loot.
Rob and I ended Christmas by watching the first 6 episodes of Flight of the Conchords. Gosh I love that show!
