This morning I had to deliver a speech– a speech that was given to me Thursday evening. I probably should have spent the weekend memorizing the speech and practicing my delivery. Instead, I decorated Easter Eggs with Audra and Steve and Lisa. On Sunday, Rob and I went to the King Tut Exhibit. Last night, I finally started studying. As it is, everything worked out okay. The presentation went smoothly and I got some nice feedback.
The King Tut Exhibit, although very interesting, was a little disappointing. Can you believe they didn’t have a single one of his sarcophaguses? One of which was featured heavily in all the advertising. Strange. Regardless, it was pretty amazing seeing items that were 3,000 years old.
Tomorrow I have to wake up super early. I mean super early! Like 4:30! I have to leave my house by 5:45 so I can be at the train station at 6:00 so I can get into the city by 6:45 so I can get to the meeting by 7:00. Ugh!

Hey Donna-
We saw the Tut exhibit on Saturday. It was pretty lame, overall, and I have to agree that it’s shameful that so many elements used in the advertising weren’t actually a part of exhibit.
Did you head over to The U Penn Museum (on the trolley or otherwise)?
Their Egyptian collection is very cool, and fills in a lot of the blanks.
You two should go to the Met for all things Egyptian, including the sarcophagi. While you’re there, don’t forget to channel Billy Crystal: “Waiter, there is too much pepper on my paprikash…”
