At noon, I dropped my car off at the mechanic to have an oil change. Rob says it’s not good to drive 7,000 miles over the recommended mileage alotted for an oil change. Howard is also going to see why my lcd speedometer/odometer is on the fritz. Hopefully he will bill me. I just paid for work he did last December, last month.
I had a great weekend. I met two of Rob’s 9 siblings. They were very normal which I suppose was a bit of a relief. Too bad he can’t say that for my family. 🙂 On Saturday we attempted to watch the Perseid meteor shower. Sadly the moon was too full and there was just far too much light in the sky.
This evening I did my laundry, went through mail and cleaned my bedroom. Things are looking a bit more organized but I am far from finished.
umm, I sincerely hope you didn’t damage the engine. When you let the engine run so far over the oil get dirty and starts to ruin the motor bearings. At that point your oil pressure drops to zero and bad, VERY bad things happen to your car engine. It usually means the motor is junk at that point. Not to scare you I’m sure your car will be fine, but just do regular oil changes, oil is cheap to replace, a car motor is not….
