Does anyone know where I might purchase a working betamax player? I don’t want to spend much money. People are selling them on eBay however the ones that work are going for quite a bit of money. There has to be another place other than eBay. Right?

If I only had known. I had a Betamax, was sitting in my garage for years. I think I gave it away about 8 years ago. Should have held onto it. I still have the tapes though!!!!

Go to an old-line Sony dealer – one who’s been around for at least twenty years. I’ll bet he has one gathering dust in a carton in the back room.
