Last night I made a technical support house call to Barbara and George. They’ve been having so many issues with their Internet connection and Anti-virus application. It seems that I fix it only to have it crop up a few days later. This time I decided I would hook them up with a router so they wouldn’t have to login to their DSL each time. That seemed to fix everything. I then uninstalled and reinstalled MacAfee and got rid of the extraneous programs it had loaded. I installed Firefox for them and hid their IE icons. The last thing I wanted to do was switch them from Outlook to Thunderbird but I was surprised to find that Thunderbird doesn’t support multiple identities. Now I have to figure a way of curbing their spam from within Outlook Express. I am guessing there is some sort of addon spam filter I can purchase.
