Hallow’s Eve

I had a very quiet Halloween night. Lisa and I put Bobo in his costume and went to visit Joe and Judy, our neighbors across the street. We haven’t seen them in ages mainly because Judy is going through chemo and Lisa’s had strep throat. We didn’t want to infect Judy. They loved seeing Bobo dressed up and we talked for a good half hour to 45 minutes. When we were finished there, we walked over to Violet’s house. She was excited to see us and ushered us into her living room. Out on her coffee table she had some pictures that she showed us. They were from when she was younger. Gosh, she was a good looking woman! She also told us that she went to the gynecologist yesterday and the gynecologist asked if she was sexually active. “I am 90 years old, for goodness sakes!” she exclaimed. I could tell Lisa was getting a little antsy because her TV show Prison Break was going to go on shortly so we told Violet we had to get on back home.

Waiting for Prison Break to start, we watched a documentary on Harry Houdini. I got a kick that Teller was interviewed but he wouldn’t show his face. You could only see his silhouette. Regardless, he had quite an intelligent voice and he spoke very well. I really think he and Penn should change roles. I detest Penn. He should be the mute and Teller should do the talking.

Not a single trick or treater stopped by the Donnavilla! That’s what happens when you live in a community where there are very few children. Now I must get ready for my trip to Vegas!
