I just had a bitch of a time posting that last entry. MT kept telling me I didn’t have permission to rename files. I had to fire up the old FTP app and reset permissions. How the heck everything changed overnight is beyond me. This Web site is held together with nothing but string, saliva and a touch of html. I wish there was a cheap program out there that made it easy to manage a Web site. When I was setting up Lisa’s abumpyroad.com I played around with some of the applications that the Web hosting company provided for free but none of them were easy to use or easy to figure out. Perhaps one day…

Just reading your website is an education in things Eastern European. Here in the Lone Star State of T*e*x*as we have notable Czech festivals in the towns of Ennis and West, and I learned a lot about Czech culture when I went there. But reading your website is
like getting a PhD in the subject.
I’m going out right now to get some o’ that
magic elixir.
I’m not Czech. And I rarely write about Eastern European culture– as least I don’t think that I do. I am drinking Becherovka as I write this though.
