Lovin’ Spoonful :: Joe Butler songs

RHAPSODY Playlist
This morning I searched for songs sung by Joe Butler. I found only 6:
* There She Is
* Butchie’s Tune
* Never Goin’ Back
* Full Measure
* Old Folks
* Only Pretty, What a Pity (I think this is Joe singing)

Anyone know of other songs sung by Joe?

    “Full Measure,” though, the B-side of the Spoonful’s “Nashville Cats,” is a severely underrated record; by any other band this would have been an enormous hit, but Kama Sutra (!) wasn’t interested at the time in promoting any Spoonful songs sung by anyone other than John Sebastian. (Despite this, it scraped onto the Billboard chart at #87.)

    I just found Full Measure in my search for Joe’s songs. It really is a good song and a shame he didn’t get more notice.

    I believe “You Baby” (not the Turtles song) off the first Spoonful LP is a Butler lead; “Me Without You” (from the last LP) definitely is.
