I finally turned off Piero Umliani! I had been listening to him incessantly since I found three of his albums on Rhapsody. This evening, while watching the hotel’s TV, I saw a commerical for Dr Pepper in which they used his MÁH-NÁ-MAH-NÁ song! What a crazy coincidence! I replaced him on my playlist with the Lovin’ Spoonful. Listening to them, I realized that the songs Joe Butler sang are my favorite. I wonder if he ever did any solo work? Surfing around the Internet the one thing I did find out about him is he is the father of the actresss Yancy Bulter. She was on Mann & Machine and Witchblade. She’s a real pretty girl; her most noticeable feature would have to be her eyebrows which look like a pair of dueling caterpillars.
