Last night Lisa and I attempted to watch Beyond Justice starring Rutger Hauer and Carol Alt. I bought it at CVS a few months ago. It was a 2 for 3.00 deal. I really wanted Cold Sweat starring Charles Bronson and so I grabbed the only other video that struck me as interesting… Beyond Justice. Within the first few minutes I knew we were in for a doozy; the credits were done in Cooper Black typeface. The film must have been made at a time when Rutger had just been outfitted with a new set of dentures because it seemed as if Rutger’s teeth were about to fall out and he was doing his darndest at sucking them back in. It was horrible. Absolutely horrible. I fell asleep during what seemed like an interminable desert battle between Rutger and a horde of Arabic nomads. I don’t think I am going to try to finish it.
